Admission Tickets
Our Gift Shop and Malt Loft are open every day from April-October 11am-5pm.
Please purchase a grounds ticket or use our season pass to enter the grounds and visit our shops.
If you purchase items from our online shop, and wish to collect those in person, please select ‘local pickup’ at checkout and bring your order confirmation with you to Traquair to allow for free entry to collect your order.
Traquair Gifts
The Gift Shop is is situated in the courtyard in one of the wings of the house and we think you will enjoyed our large range of Gifts, Plants, Books, local crafts and souvenirs.
If you cannot visit us in person there are a number of items available in our online shop.
The Brewery Shop & Museum
In the Old Malt Loft adjoining the Gift Shop you can find out about the history of brewing at Traquair, sample our ales and watch a film of the brewing process.
There is a wide range of beer related merchandise from T-shirts and caps to Traquair Mustards, Spice cake and even a shampoo made with Traquair House Ale!
The museum contains some fascinating material from the archives including its more recent history when it was rediscovered in 1965 and is now recognised as the oldest craft brewery in the UK.
Crafts & Gifts
Traquair Gifts and Souvenirs include historical reproductions of the Stuart Family Tree, localmaps, the Warrant to execute Mary Queen of Scots as well as Pot Purri with an orginal Traquair essence.
Books
Traquair publications include the History of Lady Nithsdale and the Jacobites, A Family Life Revealed and A Gift of Time; a memoir by Flora Maxwell Stuart.
Brewery
Local Crafts include a fine selection of blown glass, knitwear, candles and prints.
Traquair Tweed
A selection of Traquair shortbread, fudge, mints and old fashioned sweets as well mead, and fruit wines are available.
