Summer Drawing Sessions
Artist Jules Bradbury will be running drawing sessions in the grounds of Traquair on Sundays throughout the Summer. Join her to learn while drawing, focussing on foliage and flowers.
Plant Life drawing in the Yew Tree Circle
Join artist & plantswoman Jules Bradbury in these Sunday morning drawing sessions amongst some of
the oldest Yew trees in Scotland. Learn about Yew trees and spend time in their presence.
We’ll embark on some energising drawing exercises in the Yew circle to help inspire you to find the
fluid line, then put this into practice with more sustained drawing. Come and absorb something of the
wisdom of these ancients: Study their muscular limbs growing in sinuous twists.
Drawing boards, clips + paper + all materials will be provided
Please bring a kneeler/small cushion/folding chair
