Traquair Fair will take place this year on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August with the theme of “fire” so expect red hot entertainment, passionate music and sparks flying!
On the main avenue the “art in action” theme will be expanded with demonstrations of glass blowing, forging on site, raku and candlemaking workshops.
Fire shows on the wine glass lawn, dance in the courtyard and music in the walled garden will join a feast of children;s entertainment, workshops and other events throughout the day.
Traquair Fair has also been awarded funding from Event Scotland for the second year and part of this funding will be put towards the development of a new “glamp site” which will cater for campers who want to enjoy a more luxurious camping experience. Yurts and teepees can be hired ready erected in a quiet riverside area perfect for families and those who want a little peace and quiet in the evening.
